what is the best route to go from Jersey City to Cincinnati through Train or Bus?
I want to go from Jersey City, NJ to Cincinnati, OH. Can anyone guide me what would be the best route to go using Train or Bus? I don't want to travel in plane or in my car

I don't think passenger rail service even exists between Jersey City and Cincinnati. You can take a Greyhound Bus (http://www.greyhound.com/home/), but it will take you 17 hours and cost at least $70! It's faster and almost the same price to take a plane, if that is at all possible for you. As a general rule, Americans travel within the US via car or airplane. That's just the way it is.

About What is the best Cincinnati ice cream parlor
What is the best Cincinnati ice cream parlor?
I'll be traveling soon to Cincinnati and someone told me that there's a really great old fashioned ice cream parlor in Cincinnati with the best ice cream in the city that I absolutely must try but she couldn't recall the name of it. Anyone know the place she's talking about?

Grater's. Or Aglamesis Brothers

Well sorry, its not in cincinnati, but the best ice cream i have EVER had is the cinnamon flavor at this place called "Days" in Ocean Grove New Jersey. So if you live near Ocean Grove, you've gotta try it!

The most popular Ice Cream Parlor in Cincinnati is defiantly Greater's Ice Cream. You can find one right in Fountain Square! It's really good. Hoped this helped!

Traveling from Cincinnati OH, what is the best affordable Caribbean vacation?

Affordable means different things to different people! However, I would say you should check out sites like kayak.com and do some cost analysis. Check flight costs to your destination, median hotel prices, etc... OR, a very cost-effective way to see more of the Caribbean at once is to take a cruise. Cruises can get super-cheap depending on the length of the cruise, cruise line, time of year, etc... And paying for the cruise will cover your food (not alcoholic drinks or soda though), a place to sleep, and they have tons of free activities on board. Then you can get off at each port and look around, or splurge on some excursions (it is typically cheaper to book excursions outside of the cruise line). If you really want to go to one place and stay there, though, you will probably find that the cheapest Caribbean destinations are generally in Mexico, the Bahamas, and Jamaica. Hope this helped!

You can try islands like Barbados, Puerto Rico and the USVI. I have heard that Cancun and Cozmuel are fairly reasonable but Cancun seems to attract a lot of college kids so I dont know if that would deter you. รข™¥

Will a virgin mobile phone work if I travel from Cincinnati to South Carolina?
Last year I took my cricket phone on vacation thinking it would work the entire way. I lost reception in Tenn. and didn't get it back until I hit Tenn. on the way home. I was a nervous wreck the entire time I didn't have service (I was worried the car would break down, what if...?, etc.) I want an affordable phone to take this year and I was looking into virgin mobile. The virgin mobile coverage map looks like there is coverage the whole way or most of the way there but I was under the assumption that the phone would work only in the area you purchased it. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanks for the help!

Yes, virgin mobile should have pretty good coverage
2 :
It should work as long as there is Sprint Service. There is a coverage map on VM's website
3 :
Virgin Mobile works on Sprint's network, so its has coverage where Sprint does, which is most cities and highways, but nowhere near as broad as AT&T or Verizon. If you want good coverage, a cheap AT&T Gophone is probably a better option.
4 :
If VM works off Sprint, then you will have gaps in TN where Sprint service stinks. You might look at Tracfone which uses everyone's cell towers.
5 :
AT&T works world wide with fewer dead spots. The go phone is a cheaper alternative if you are only using the phone for short infrequent calls, no data usage. Signing up with at&t is probably your best option because they have bundles to fit new subscribers and they work with you well to suite your needs.

Traveling from cincinnati to salt lake city help?
how much would a train ticket from cincinnati (or toledo) to salt lake city cost, and how long would it take?

This trip takes about 48 hours. Cost will vary depending on how far ahead you book (I found rates between $174 and $260 each way).
2 :
Like booking a flight, the cost changes day-to-day, usually increasing the closer to the day of the trip you get. The Amtrak site says that a trip booked right now for a departure on 2/5 (the closest date I could book) costs $325 one-way ($499 round-trip, not including taxes) and takes 44 hours (there is a connection in Chicago). Meanwhile, a plane ticket for the same departure is going to cost $710, BUT it's only going to take 4 hours to get there. One-way would be $540. Also, keep in mind that these prices are way expensive because I looked up flights for THIS Saturday... Flights from CVG to SLC in two weeks are only $335 round-trip. Not sure why anyone would take the train that far instead of flying and wasting 2 days of vacation.
